To downgrade iphone 3gs to 4.1 is easy just press shift + restore and point itunes to the iphone 3gs 4.1 firmware, since apple are still signing shsh for 4.1 on 3g or 3gs. May I also say that if you had flashed ipad baseband you need to create a custom firmware first using either sn0wbreeze (Windows) or pwnagetool (Mac)

ultrasn0w will not work on 5.0.1 even if you had flashed the ipad baseband or have the 5.13 baseband for the simple reason of incompatible unlock strings.

What do you suggest?
I see 1 layer gnd in photo is lifted up,you can scratch and remove it.
But possible problem is at Vbat solder pad of that burn cap, you will need to scratch that region carefully to remove shorting.
I think when you screw the board somehow it press the cap in board and it short.
I will draw what part to remove and post.
There will be easier if i could upload attachments but it give error.

Thanks Wites for your answer. I'll await your solution
What browser do you use? And what exactly is the error when you try to upload?

Ohh...Usually upload errors are related to browser plugins. But if both browser fail that might be a setting internally of the forum. If I were I would contact this site admins.

Oh I feel afraid to cut the actual coppe layer since I will have to remove those cap solder pads. What should I be looking at a black layer or what?

What I am also confused about is why did it short after I charged the battery with a dc power supply? I have charged battery red to + and black to - (V set to 3.7 and I set to 1A). Can it be possible I tried to charge the battery in reverse polarity? But this would heat up/explode the battery no?

I don't think you didn't charge properly i think on board was problem.

Bro only solder pads remove of that cap don't cut what i mark,i will show you what i did,it's a bit risky work.
