Tried a new screen. Same there.

Im really confused, cause I think the backlight is working now with the grey screen(altoght there is no connection from ic109b to lcd connector pin?!) But why there is no screen now?

Thank you in advance!
Recheck what you did maybe you short something look other side of board in corner if not missing lcd resistors.

Hi Wites,

I think I've got an easy question for you, but I'm confused what to remove first...

So I've got this 3GS board which is getting really really hot when charging and also draining the battery while charging. So I opened it up and checked L9_AP charge coil and it was beeping then I checked the charge coil against the GND and it was shorting. I checked also the D1 diode (next to this charge coil) and it was also shorting.

The question is which one do you think is bad, diode or charge coil?

What baseband firmware?
With redsn0w you cannot unlock it will only jailbreak it for you...

Bro first unsolder diode it might be diode,if short disappear then replace diode,if short remain unsolder coil and see which solder pad short, post result.

Hey dude,

I made a simple drawing to get a clear picture of what's the problem.

Also I tried to unsolder both diode and coil but I can't is it hard to do so? Seems hard to reach solder melting point
