Before reball Audio ic check voltages at FL6_AP=SDRAM+1.8V,FL28_AP=CODEC_A3V,FL29_AP=CODEC_ 3V,look in schematic page 19 if they have their voltages, this check without LCD with phone power on be careful when check to not short.
Also check with multimeter this filters if beep.

i got an iphone 4 with waterdamage. cleaned with alcohol, replaced battery (3 times) and the usb connector. now its working fine except the battery drain. from 100% to 0% in about 10 hours. battery drains even when the phone is powered off and the charging needs longer than usual for 100%. the phone gets a little hotter than usual.

i think the logicboard is short but i don't know where. can u help me there?

There are 2 problems.
1.Resistor missing.
2.Removed pad goes directly to CPU no other pad to jump with wire.

First you need find in board under removed pad coper dot to do this scratch the location to find it using an stereo microscope and solder that dot with flux.
Then you will need resistor that have 66.5K and solder it to remain pad and to coper dot in board.
Hope you understand and succeed in this hard work.

Wites, i have iphone 4 water damaged, it was regognized by itunes, but not charging i tryed several batteryes and few charging ports so the problem is in the mainboard.
I tryed your second solution jumpers for battery charging (i found it in different post). So made jumpers from charging flex conector pins to the place u showed coz there was no shortcuts going.
Now with jumpers its not regognised by pc (malfunction). Any ideas why it went so? or it might be the problem of 1 of those 2 ic?
P.S. I checked my jumper very well they are not touching nothing else.
P.P.S. I tryed your universall ic reball on nokia power ic and it went fine so big big thnx

Regards,
coldbox

Ok, i will remove, but then what can be the problem? It's even showing charging sign and fully reacts to charger (turns on then plugged in). Just battery goes down instead of going up. And mainboard does not heating up as well... there was corrosion in power ic area... Any ideas what can be wrong?

Reagards,
coldbox
