after repair it has carrier: ASIA HK CHK

so i think we need a ship rom from this, but i found only one witch have same id, but the problem is that this updater says that bootloader newer then the one i will try to flash...

wrong booloader: failed!


i used this rom: RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_HK_CHT_1.01.832.1_Radio_32.26.0 0.24U_4.04.00.03_2_test_132015.exe

till now, i got it not back working :(


and the main problem is, when the phone dont start up, how i can create a goldcard?
with a goldcard it should be possible to flash it with any rom.

problem is, that recovery mode is not working, it hangs also on htc 3 green chars.

i think we have the same problem,

mine is Hang on HTC Logo

but i can enter Hboot or fastboot mode (holding volume down and power button)

that's why i tried to flash the rom before with wrong procedure
and now HTC Desire is DEAD BOOT

To generate GOLD card you no need working HTC desire. You need other HTC on windows mobile that is supported by SW to generation gold card and need use this phone NOT HTC DESIRE !! !!

devo sayed this to me today too...
i taught the number is uniqe for every device and i can create a gold card only for the one device witch i whant to use it..

now its clear...
with a goldcard it should be easy possible to repair it now ;)

i will test it later and post the result / instructions if it works.

so i think, repairing the desire now should be no problem with goldcard...

build a goldcard (can use any other htc, dont need same one like i tought before) and update via sd card using any rom you wish.

I try repair it but not ok
What problem her?:eek:

1.) try to hold power while start connection

2.) check cables for shorts

3.) check cables for correct pinouts

4.) sometimes you need to try some more time to resurrect

5.) RTCK Sample speed set to max (sometimes i set the first box to 4Mhz and it worked)

i repair it ok, pro, how to update it back again working. Rom you use to update it?

with a goldcard you can write any rom into it..

i used the latest unbrandet rom available.

1.) make goldcard with your sd card
2.) copy the rom rename it to: PB99IMG.zip

start with back button and power on button pressed, wait a short time and your htc will check the sd card and will start with update...

press vol. up button to say yes to update..

waiting short time... and htc is working again ;)

after you made your goldcard copy this image: RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

to your sd card.
(dont change the name and dont try to unpack it) just copy it like it is to your sd card.

then all should go well...

just theoretical :)

possible to upgrade the desire dll? If the phone work and we will only unlock the phone we know the h-boot ver. Before make the resurrection simply tick the right h-bbot version (0.75, 0.80, 0.92, 0.93) and no need upgrade-downgrade and this "funny" goldcard or ADB.

and now the fone is dead. when i press power the fone vibrat and the LCD does nt light on.just blank LCD.if i connet to PC it detact HTC bootloader.
the fone is fully fine and there is now hardwear problem or any damge on the fone.

please help me.if any body have bin file can u give me link.

A noob to Riff myself, but HTC.. Love 'em.
Press and hold the back button, now press the power button for a couple of seconds. Do you get the fastboot menu? If so, you just need to flash the Desire via the goldcard method.. Plenty of posts regarding flashing via goldcard on this forum.. Hope this helps

no i do nt get anything on LCD nothing the LCD doesnt light on.no i dont get fastboot menu .

reassemble phone might help as phone is detected by pc as bootloader device it should be working

did you checked all two checkboxes?

did you entered the original imei of the device?

resurrect it again to make shure all is okay, so it can enter the fastboot menu,
after this make a goldcard with any other htc device for desire...

sd card need to be formated as fat32!
to make goldcard:
i prefere psas, because you can make unlimited security level but if you have axe box you can make goldcards to, but only with security level of 5. (means you can only use it 5 times).
psas / qmat also offers free goldcard creation website, just search for it with google and you will find it fast.

upload the image witch i already posted for download and copy it like it is to the sd card...
now enter bootloader menu (not fastboot menu) and wait till bootloader checks sd card content, it will now start to check and see if sign is okay, if your goldcard is okay it will now ask you to update your device, navigate witch the volium keys to "yes" and it will start to update your htc.

after update it should work again and is fully unlocked ;)

This is new board with SLCD instead of Amoled. Hence, old bootloader wont show aynthing on display.
We have solution for this problem, and its being tested now.

To repair new Desire, restoring new version of SPL is required.

1. Download full backup file and unpack it
2. Start JTAG Manager, select HTC Desire
3. Set everything exactly like on "restore-original-spl.jpg"
4. Press "Write" - after this phone should normaly enter download mode

Required files You can download from here.

This is just quick fix, next week we will add optional SPL version selection.

i just bought new Riff jtag box, and try to unlock Desire i solder wires like in pinout i connect phone with cable, click unlock

and manager info:
