Member: 2758038 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Tab A SM-T285 FRP Lock Need Help Obviously don't know the google account and password. Have tried flashing a custom ROM, but FRP lock blocks the binary. I flashed a combination ROM using ODIN and was able to access developer settings via Factory Binary, but there was no option to 'Enable OEM Unlock', even after accessing Developer Settings by clicking on the relevant tab 7 times. I can install .apk's on the device using the command module in adb toolkit, but none of the 'bypass FRP' apk's I've tried seem to work, unfortunately. Any ideas what I could try to bypass, or remove the FRP lock, or maybe enable OEM unlocking via some other means? Perhaps there's a direct line of code I can use via abd? I have root access via Kingroot and I have FileExplorer and Chrome (with full internet access) at my disposal. The tablet belongs to a family member who locked themselves out. If I were being paid by the hour, I'd already have spent more than the darned thing is worth, but it's a matter of personal pride at this point. Thanks! |

Member: 2758038 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Thanks bro, I tried it but you can no longer download apps from the Samsung website Flashed the 4 files and got access to the internet via the dialler as per your method, but can't get any further as Samsung have made it impossible to download Apps, meaning no access to the bypass apk. Appreciate the reply. |

Member: 2758038 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | UPDATE: I followed your method up until accessing the Samsung Store via the tablet's browser and then because they've removed access to it via the web I used the Wayback Machine to search out the old Samsung apps website you put in your walkthrough. Couldn't get to that particular site, but I managed to find an old Spanish one which still had download links. I emailed the links to my gmail account and by signing into gmail in my tablet's browser and opening the links I was able to access the Samsung app store on the tablet. From there it was just a case of installing a file manager and running the rootjunky frp bypass .apk, then registering a new account on the phone. Many thanks, the workaround is still valid as long as you can access an old, but still working app store download link from the Wayback Machine archive of samsungapps dot com - from around June of 2016 |
