i was able to recover my bois password but now it is giving me a hdd password request. i dont have it so i need ur help please.

hdd password error code is: 03852 if that helps. sorry for all the posts, im new to this crap man. but all the info i posted just now is accurate. when i go into the bios setup and try to change the hdd password in there it says "system disabled: 23130" when i bypass setup and let my system load it asks for hdd password and when i get it wrong 3 times it says " hdd password error code: 03852

Hi, the Dell minis' have a generic Phoenix bios. Bios passwords can be generated from the System Disabled code but not hard drive passwords. Sorry to tell you this, but unless you can find the original password you're screwed.

Replacing hard drive will work fine. BUT, first try one of these:
qtuve
ztrve
qyabyd
jfzte

Might get lucky!
Instructions:
Passwords are for QWERTY keyboard only (standard US). Case sensitive. Some units only require pressing <enter> after password, some require pressing <ctrl>+<enter> after password and some require holding down <ctrl> while pressing <enter> once or twice.

thanks but none worked. if i replace the hdd can i use any mobile 2.5 sata hard drive? will tVe new hard drive ask me for a stupid password again? i just dont wanna waste time and money... thanks.

Master Password: pvvsrl23
pvvsrl23

note 6th digit is letter (L) not number 1

Passwords are for QWERTY keyboard only (standard US)
Enter calculated password, Then holding CTRL push ENTER key twice.
