TomTom v6-7 and Route 66 v6 Firmware and Maps

I found the problem! I downloaded a random cert file from this thread. Did the same thing wich will NOT work with the cert I got from Titan.
And guess what!? I got a very nice SIGNED sis. But of course that (not my IMEI) will not work on my E-90.

So please can BU or someone else make a new cert for me for IMEI 353659012350225 and please tell me wich route66 version (v7.3.486 or v7.3.545)to use with E-90?

As suggested by BuMobiles, I tried a soft reset on my n95 8gb.
When it restarted should the progs still be there?
Also i removed route 66 and reinstalled to no avail.

Could you please make a new cert for me for my N95 8GB IMEI # 356983010418215 and also let me know which version of route66 I should use to make it compatible with internal GPS. v7.3.486 or v7.3.545.

As you tested yourself, there must be something different on my PC. I copied the certificate file (you posted), sultan.key, route66*sis file, and signsis.exe into a directory and then try the following command:

signsis Route66.Mobile.v7.3.545.cracked.unsigned.sis Route66.Mobile.v7.3.545.cracked.signed.sis 356996013445944.cer sultan.key 0123456

from the command line in DOS.

I also tried using your tool Sign Your Apps v1.0.exe.

But somehow I dont get the signed file. Is it possible that the signed file you created can be sent.

That's strange, I have made many certs and sign may apps without a problems. Let me look into what's wrong.

Could you please clarify something for regarding these installations
1. do i need a specific .cer file created by you for the imei of the phone?
to allow me to sign an application to that phone using the "Sign Your Apps" program . Or does the software that you have posted allow us to create our own .cer files?

I have spent ages looking for the .cer files & assume this is the only answer?

Hi,

Right, i have tried doing this by myself and resisted temptation of bothering you guys too much but i have become stuck:

1. have made the .cer file
2. downloaded b.u tools

if i open either version 1 or 2 , i can see the app thats needs to be sighned but in step 2 "click on the certificate" its not in the box?? I have made sure the .csr file is in the same folder as the b.u tools but no luck

any ideas guys?

I know im nearly there , i have a feeling this is the last hurdle

SORRY, I DIDNT RENAME FILE !!!
right, its created 2 files for me a .sis and a xxxx.cer file

I downloaded the signed file and could installed successfully on my n95.

It shows "No GPS!" though, but it could be problem of the satellite signal.

Excuse me, i solved it myself! The cer file you provided me with was "double" zipped. I unzipped the file and got a result with no extension. That was the one i worked with. But i had to unzip that one too, then got another file with no extension. This one i renamed to XXXXXX.cer and Voila!

I found it out by downloading a random other cer file from this trhead and opened it with notepad. I noticed so much difference inside that i knew i did something wrong.

It is now up and running!

Maybe you can answer my last question. Whats the best version of route66 to use on my e90?
