My 3210 is not charging nothing happens when i plug in my charger Have checked the capicitor between contacts but thats ok. Anyone has clue for this

try to megure the voltage of the charger, tray an other charger, put netmonitor on you're cel phone and cheque if it detecs a charger

Hi mate The small SMT component between both contacts for the battery is a varistor. First check the conectors if they are brocken (a crack apears between the conector and the bord). If they are OK then change the varistor. Best regards Daniel

The phone also will not charge if there is a software problem i.e. contact service. Try a charged battery from another phone to test for this and/or flash the phone.

Hi Mate.

I have the same problem with my 3210. I got this problem when I used the 8210 charger on my cell. I have checked all the possible damaged components (F100, R101, L100.., C146, etc..) including the varistor but I still get the same problem; no charging indicator even I use other charger.

What could be the other solution for this?

Even i got the same problem on my 3210 v03.00 . When i insert charger the battery icon on the right will start blinking . If i remove batt. and leave charger on it will make a beep every 2 seconds and the screen will have a line in the middle . I didnt check my mobile to c whats wrong with it , i just charge my batt. with my mum's mobile . The problem of the mobile started when i changed batt. , i think it was my fault but 'cause i touched the connectors of the batteries . i think i shorted something .

I have same problem on a 3210 after upgrade from 5.26 to 6.00 with logs (about a week after). says "charger not connected". NetMonitor test 20 shows charging status as: TmpFa which i see as battery NTC mesaurements failed, what does this mean? tried different charger, battery and charging block with same outcome <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> tia

Dave : propably you have a bad soldered contacts of battery, or varistor is defective.

other: check fuse, is it on keyboard side down. Measure with multimeter for shorcircuit of charger connector. If there is a shortcircuit, termistor is defect, is it near fuse. If nothing helps, charging IC may be wrong. Is a small BGA near CCONT T.

Hi Ars, Thanks just repaired one 3210 not charging problem in my 3210 It was varistor faulty i replaced with good phone where can i get this varistor, because i have to put back in my good phone. I got the same problem with my 3210 . When i insert a charger and switch to Netmonitor(20) the C will start displaying numbers . So i guess that it is finding the charger , but it is not charging ! . Any1 knows why ? pls help im tired of switching batteries into another 3210 . Thanks

Hi i got the some problem with my 3210.If you have netmonitor in test 20 when is "BTemp"-second line for up -when is not T+ but T- in phone "unter dem battery" 2 metal sticks not connecting . sorry for my english and that germany language.sorry

If i will remove the faulty varistor from my 3210 and insert a varistor from my Nokia 6210 , would it work or ?
