You are wrong, if the phone is locked(security code), you can't read it by usb cable, unless you put it first in test or local mode
Tested with 6270 and N73

If U have a modified F-Bus cable and it show local or test Mode in phone...then No Need for USB cable...this solotion is...when ever a modified F-Bus cable is not avilable,Then Usb cable will Use For Operation.

check above solotion it will work for you,Conect red to positive and blacke to negative while green to midlle point of your 6233 battery terminlas,press power botton and wait, you will see test mode,now conect DKU-2 cable use jaf,all will be fine.

I TEST ALSO NOKIA 6300 WITH EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY (INVITER),USING RED TO PHONE POSITIVE AND BLACK TO NEGATIVE AND GREEN TO MIDDLE POINT OF THE BATTER TERMINAL.

i cant put phone in local or test when i try to power on the phone it just power on complete

why just try to understand the point of the thread starter,,he just simply want to say that this is just the method of puting the phone in test mode ,,bcoz bb5 is so hard toenter in test mode sometime,
