Unit is booting when the charger is connected.
but after that is restarts all the time.

It looks like the power button is not detected.
Although i can get into DFU mode ????

Trying to restore the unit goes trough a restart and then it hangs in restart loops again.

So power button is detected to put the phone into DFU mode.
But not detected to power-on the phone .

Check this components if not damaged missing, you can also check for
continuity green fuse.

Check black diode and coil near of PMIC if not short to GND.
If short, remove black diode & check again.

Diode replaced.
PMIC still getting hot, and the voltage on the diode is only 1.2V. ??
When diode removed this is also only 1.2V

Check L15_RF L20_RF if they generate voltages.At C53 vsd2 1.8V if present.
Voltage or CLK problem.

Last time i had that, there was a bad contact in the area C418_RF, C419_RF, and XW18_RF.

Located between the module and the 2 coils

@wites: 1.8V (VSD2) comes from BB-PMU and this is ok. The VSD2 is only a pullup voltage for some signals i think, not? L15 and L20 is this for internal Power-Supply from the WLAN-Module?

@X10robin: I checked this parts already....there is all ok, i know this problem also.

Fact is: The WLAN-Module becomes +BAT Voltage (about 4V). i see some corrosions on the WLAN-Board, but not that strong. Maybe bad solders under a Chip on the WLAN-Module??

other prbolem:

iPhone 4: All sounds are very loud biased (sounds like too high gain). when i reduce volume becomes better, but still biased. when i connect earphone, the same there. when i try to make a call, the mic makes a backcoupling and i hear only a loud beeeeeeeeeeeep. in the earphone also the same!

it was an water damage. i removed the metal shield around the NAND-Flash for cleaning. before i had no backligt, sound was ok i think, i can't say! which ic should i try to reball first??

what can that be? if somebody can help me, you get my greatest respect!!!
