Hi,

You should check the NTC line this usually happens becuase either the battery connector is not connected properly or the NTC filter is damaged.

You could try the following:

1. Check the digitizer connector for dry joint soldering
2. Replace the quartz oscillator next to the application pmic.
3. Check for cracked glue around the pmic, broadcom touchscreen controller and the mario lite auxiliary touchscreen controller

Hi I have a big problem with my girls 3gs she has got rid of her laptop with her iTunes on and cannot remember her password to get into her phone.
I have plugged it into my computer and tried with her! to do a full restore and it starts then stops halfway asking for the password again and she said now way she can remember and with her not having the laptop she set it up on I don’t know what to do can you please advise?

hi guys i have a 3gs water damaged phone wich appeared to be dead, after cleaning board replacing battery and dock i could get the battery charged but no sound or image on screen, the phone is recognised in itunes but restore gives error 23 (no radio) removed motherboard and placed in known working phone still same problems no image etc .is there anythink else i could try i dont want to be beaten by it cheers
