i have a iphone 5c that has the screen not completely seated in the case of phone and when i try to swipe to turn on sometimes it wont work and also if trying to do something like type it just sterts adding random letters or may change to different sub pages like from general to sounds in settings on its own .

I have VBAT 3.7v
but no reset its 0v instead of 1.8v

and the white compnent is missing the one with three pins under it

You can jumper that white thing. There are 3 points. Just connect the outer ones and skip the middle pin.
Its better to replace the IC. You can heat it from under the board at 400 degrees celcius.
Lift the ic slowly with a small knife blade.
No need to remove all the black. Just make sure there are no hills.

Now i am unable to use WIFI.

Is it possible that i can get a new Wifi chip and paste it myself? or any easy to apply technique.. pls help

Hello, I have a problem with an iPhone 6 (a1549 64g).

The display shows purble horizontal lines on the screen, but the display works fine (I test it in other iPhone 6).

The device don't show trace of wet or hits.

Whenever i try to update or backup the phone , it reboots.

at first the screen fades into green or red or what not color. and then goes black - and the phone restarts. (I have a video of it on youtube, but can't link cause i'd need more forum points)

It doesn't matter if i backup using the lightning cable, or over WiFi.

I replaced the display since the glass was cracked. but I had the same problem before.

Interestingly I managed to download iOS 9 without a single reboot (which took more than an hour), but when i try to install it , the phone dies after some 15 seconds.



any clue what could be the reason?

hello, i have several iphones 6 that continuously fall to itunes with error 53, this is because they all have non-native touch id button, only one iphone 6 has been repaired by changing touch id button. I am confused, can someone please provide an explanation?

Your Touch ID is married with your CPU and Baseband IC. When this doesnt match when update or restore your IOS, your phone will fail.
Itunes will show error 53.

In other words. Your phone will never work again.
There is no way to go around this check.

Best thing is to put the original button and screen back and bring it to the official apple store and let them replace it.

I have a good condition iphone 6 that has water damaged and will not power up no more. I have done everything I can to bring it back but I am afraid the logic board is garbage. I am going to try and replace the IC power supply chip to it and see if that will do the trick. If that doesnt work I will need to replace the whole logic board. Can this be done on the iphone 6? I read that I need to remove 3 chips of the old board and put them on the new board. Can anyone confirm this please and if so what are the chips called that I need to remove?

Almost always, it will be something else, not the pmic, get the schematics, and check the lines for short, check voltages etc, use power supply, not battery, always do basic checks first.
