Hi i have replaced 2 screens
1 started flickering and the backlight brightness was very low and the other didn't even worked except for the capacitive buttons who did i guess the touch did work but the backlight was faulty.
Could it have some connection with the componantes you mentioned or the screen compatillity.

i have look in the Datasheet of the IC TPS65200.
In the Datasheet are a 10µH Coil on the LED and a second coil with 1µH on the Battery.
It´s possibile if the are on the Phone a 22µH and a 2.2µH coil?
On the second coil in the Phone are no sign.

You can not repair it by yourself rush to a service center of htc or some professional electronic repair store.

I had same issue and solved it this way . There is a small ic under metal shield betwen coil 220 and small flash ic that need to be reheated , now phone is working . I think changing coil only acidentaly does reheat this ic because i had changed coil with no sucess .

Dead Spots on Touch Screen

Hey Guys...

I'm having trouble finding any info on my problem, so I thought I'd tack my question on here...

Summary: Broken Screen on One X, Replaced Whole LCD/Touch and the whole middle was dead and wouldn't register a touch, replaced just the touch glass a second time, and now the whole bottom half and the home buttons don't register a touch... could this be Two faulty Touch Glass Units?? or is something wrong with the Motherboard... The Original Broken Glass still registers touches all over...

Any Help??

I've noticed if the LCD flex is not seated perfectly it flickers and goes on and off, and if I hold the phone hard where the flex plugs in (out of its casing) it also flickers... I'm no expert though, I'm just here looking for info on my dead touch areas...??
