Member: 103043 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | No matter what I do, I've followed all the tips in this thread (license.dat, inf file, Widcomm patcher v2) but I always get the nagging window which says this is a tryout version, although it seems the trial period is... some million days. Beside, on my CSR BC04 EDR dongle the .1400 version seems unable to enstablish a remote connection on a Nokia N70 UMTS phone. Also, no Widcomm 5 of sort seems to be able to find the BT serial profile of my Nokia. Am I the only one having troubles? Gio |

Member: 244705 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have installed the widcom 5.0.1.1400 drivers and they work well after the crack. My dongle connects to the Jabra BT200 headset and the driver shows it as connected. The specs of the Dongle are-- Integrated System Solution Corp. version 500 HVI version Bluetooth HCI 1.2 LMP version Bluetooth LMP 1.2 LMP Sub Version 01f4. I am able to get audio in the ear fone of the head set. But the mic doesnt work . The settings for sound are as indicated in the forum i.e. blue tooth audio as default for in and out. The blue tooth devices in the device manage shows bluetooth bus enumerator and ISSC USB bluetooth device. Both are of Broadcom. I don't have MS bluetooth installed. Despite all this while i get the audio the mic doesnt work.I have tried and wasted at least 48 hours . Can someone help ???? |

Member: 245600 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hey, guys. I've got a problem installing these drivers and getting them to recognize the BT device. The device is a CSR chip that came with my laptop (Acer TM 8006lmi). This is what I did: 1. Turned off and uninstalled all BT related software/drivers/etc. I went to the Device Manager to double check that there were no BT devices listed. 2. Downloaded the .1400 installation files, the .1200 inf file, and Phantasm's license.dat file. 3. Unzipped the .1400 installation files, replaced the license.dat file with Phantasm's, and replaced the btwusb.inf file with the .1200 inf file. 4. Installed the .1400 drivers. Clicked 'Ok' when it asked to disable the Windows Certification warnings. Clicked 'Cancel' when asked to turn on device. 5. Completed installation. Didn't ask to reboot. 6. Turned on BT device, and Windows goes crazy finding tons of services/devices. Windows installs drivers automatically. 7. I can't find any BT hardware in 'My Bluetooth Places'. What's going on here? Am I doing something wrong? |

the issc chipset dont support audio headset. i can email you my photo of the issc blue tooth. I have tried widcom and bluesoil. none work. I bought first bluetooth dongle for 25 sgd, it failed. I bought another brand, for 20 sgd, failed again. Both brands claimed to be class 1, which is 100meter. I was frustrated. I striped open both dongle to see what is the chipset, both are actually issc. i bought another bluetooth dongle, this time, it is the bluetooth version 2.0, class one, at 29 sgd, from simlimsquare. it works beautifully with toshiba software bundled.

I tried this several ways before getting rid of the nag screen. On the 5th try, there has been no nag screen for over 48 hours. My recommendation follows. YMMV 1. Uninstall any previous installations 2. Download the full 5.0.1.1400 (not the pre-patched version) 3. Download the V2 patcher 4. Replace the btwusb.inf with the one from 5.0.1.1200 or modify yourself to include the PID/VID for your device 5. Do not replace the license.dat 6. Install 5.0.1.1400 7. Reboot in safe mode 8. Run the patcher 9. Reboot in normal mode 10. Insert your device, and when prompted, point the install hardware to the bin folder that contains the btwusb.inf Good luck!

Member: 246973 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Simplest way to install widcomm driver ever! Hi guyz, I had been looking for billionton bluetooth v2.0 +edr usb adapter (toshiba) driver for almost a month.. then I found a post on Nfree forum which is about using widcomm driver for all bt devices. and a link for an installation guide. then I read this thread but all of them so complex.. here is the simplest way to install widcomm driver ever! btw I registered this forum for only post this msg. 1) Download all-in-one patched single file installer for Widcomm 5.0.1.1400 * 2) Uninstall ANY version of stack that you have (NO UPGRADE) 3) Reboot your system 4) Install software - Cancel when it looks for the dongle to continue installation without driver (you do not have to disable or unplug your dongle) 5) Manually delete your device's VID and PID line from [ControlFlags] part in C:\Program Files\ANYCOM\Blue USB-200-250\bin\btwusb.inf file. here is the line for billionton v2.0 +edr "ExcludeFromSelect = USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001" (everybody says "change", but nobody says how to change, what to change, where to change.. and besides I never found anything to change.. there is an exclude list in the file which anycom put almost all brand's pid&vids to prevent use their software with other bt devices. I think if you delete all pid&vids then you can use it with almost any bt devices) 6) Unplug and Plug in your Bluetooth dongle 7) Let windows automaticaly installs your device driver (mine is CSR usb bt) 8) have fun in this way, I never use any patch or license file, sometimes I get an pop up which says: ANYCOM Blue USB-200/250 Software 5.0.1.1400 This is an evaluation copy of ANYCOM Blue USB-200/250 Software 5.0.1.1400 Evaluation expires on ƒñâ@. You have 268435557 days remaining on your evaluation. here is the question: do I need to do the license replacement? and when I do it, will it make that pop up never appear again? For Getting YOUR VID and PID: Start/Run/ Type devmgmt.msc for device manager (or Right click MY COMPUTER/HARDWARE/DEVICE MANAGER) BLUE TOOTH DEVICES/DOUBLE CLICK on your dongle/ (if you delete your bt driver then let windows find it with named Unknown USB Device, check details) DETAILS/ Device instant id: USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001 *all-in-one patched single file installer for Widcomm 5.0.1.1400 Get it here: http://www.filefactory.com/get/f.php...f8519e52a1a964 or p2p download ed2k://|file|Widcomm%205.0.1.1400%20patched.exe|38236721| 70319501ad7eb0abe3fa23244d5b6bcc|/ magnet:?xt=urn:bitprint:IHDMCEAJT6PLDHYBQXAAS42EF3 SFQD76.IFMQLDBVVJZLJ3FKGVSWXI4RWRJBDD2ANUKKNAA&dn= Widcomm%205.0.1.1400%20patched.exe ps: I have no problem with pc suite, but OPM 4 symbian can not connect when bt serial port secure connection is selected. and I cant connect with widcomm software's serial port connection, when I press connect it connects then disconnects.. what is the difference between patched version and original version? why patched version is half size of the original one? thx Last edited by Lord Reaper; 03-20-2006 at 20:24. |

This is the best method I've found. I did have to add my device to the .inf file. To do this you want to find the PID and VID that is closet to yours (after you find yours) and then copy and paste that line in below itself, then you can just edit the hex values (numbers and letters). You have to do this in two places. In the top section that is [ControlFlags] and then again in the lower section [WIDCOMM.NTx86.5.1]. No reg reminders and the A2DP works perfectly. My HT820 sound great. Everything works exactly the same as ver. 4. It seems a lot more stable though. Streaming radio is perfect and stops if the buffer gets wack. So far I really really like this stack. Thanks guys Last edited by syber_kowboy; 03-23-2006 at 01:21.

If you move the clock forward on your pc say 5 years then wait for the nag to appear and ok it. You can then move your clock back and it wont appear again till that date. |
