5200 SW Version 5.00 Unlock Solution !!! - GSM-Forum

Well, most of my friend will be thinking whta magic I have done to unlock 5200 sw 5.00 .... BB5Box software always says Response Byte :08 ...

Nothing special i did not connected GND with PCB at all and set unlocked sucessfull

Yes yet simple.... plz try and let me know

I will try on other models which say Response Byte 08 even TP is ok and let u know ...

it's true cuz the GND is in USB mini. No test mode if you disconnect this GND.

But 5200 Black has problem downgrading to lower sw version phone becomes dead on downgrade ....

This trick by mughalG works 100% .... Tested by me

The problems with the Nokia phone are :
"How to start TEST MODE".
The problem is with some computers and laptop USB ports.

So the best way to solve this problem is to use an external power supplie unit and follow this steps :

connect VPP , BSI and GND .
Power on the phone and check test mode on screen.
connect phone to BB5 box.
Start soft and enjoy.

This method used many times even with BB5 raskal box and Dejan BOX and work fine for more than 200 Pcs.
