Forget DFU. Recovery mode should be plenty good enough. Turn off, then plug into computer while holding home button.

If you don't get detect at the computer in recovery mode & you've tried a new charge port then it's a board problem. Most likely Tristar, but not necessarily.

If it doesn't go into recovery at all, maybe you have a home button problem?

I recently bypassed my iPad Pro 2 Cellular with iKeytools and it lost the imei but was still working as Wifi only. Then i decided to flash it to get back the imei so i could do Bypass with sim card under Meid option and it failed at 80% flashing on #u tools 14.5.1 and it got stuck in recovery mode then I clicked on exit recovery and it went black and never woke up. Now it won't even show on iTunes on Mac. Tried holding the Home and Power key still no boot battery is measuring 4.24v. Any help on how to boot again?

tried recovery mode already by holding home button then connect to pc. the same result with the dfu mode. it keeps on rebooting. i tried the home button and the charging port to another iphone 6 plus with a working board. all went well while flashing it using both dfu and recovery mode.

so this leaves to to your last cause which is tristar. is it possible also that this could be a nand chip, sir? kindly advice. thank you

there is less chance of getting dead by bypass and software. hold all keys for 5 to 10 minute. also make sure it has plenty of change.

also connect your ipad to pc , if sounds come then there is no need to worry.

Got an XS not charging or booting. 5.12v at charger with 0a current draw. When power and vol button pressed I get 0.39a momentarily then back to 0. Battery measures 0.9v and battery connector measures 0.2v when plugged in. It worked previously fine, was on charge overnight then never turned on again. Not sure where to look or what to assume. Tried new cable and new charging port, no avail. Other option is new battery but I suspect tristar ic has died or a cap has ****n. Any help would be great, cheers.

which sensor do you refer to? proximity sensor or touch screen?
If it is touch screen Meson and Cumulus, if you also have a 5v1 voltage coming from chestnuit (the screen needs to be turned on to find this voltage) if it is the proximity sensor check the camera flex and the Fpc on the board!
